Islanders get P150k
for seaweeds farming

THE SEA KAUNLARAN ASSOCIATION (SKA) of Hambongan Island in Inabanga town is now P150,000 richer with funds from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 7 office.

Mayor Jose Jono Jumamoy said the amount will be used for training and to procure materials for a seaweeds-farming project - an alternative livelihood for marginalized fishermen.
