SB cries foul! The
majority block of the Panglao Sangguniang Bayan, long at loggerheads with Mayor
Benedicto Alcala, brought their animosity into a public spectacle, triggered by
the demolition of illegal structures along the beach line of Alona , in barangay
Tawala. Breaking
its silence as a result of Mayor's Alcala's implementation of the 20-meter salvage
zone in the beach area of Tawala, the majority members of the town SB said they

PDC
approves 10 infra resolutions

Provincial Development Council Executive Committee recently passed 10 resolutions
endorsing sets of infrastructure projects mainly supporting tourism and agriculture
in Bohol.
During
the Executive Committee meeting of the PDC on June 11 in Bohol Tropics Resort,
Governor Erico Aumentado cited the necessity to get an immediate attention from
the Senate and the House on the conversion of provincial roads in the coverage
of the Bohol Circumferential Road Improvement Project phase III (BCRIP-3) into

Citizen's Charter

THE
LOCAL GOVERNMENT Unit of Loon came up with another first in its long list of achievements
when it launched on Friday afternoon the town's Citizen's Charter with no less
than Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Ronaldo
Puno as guest of honor.
Loon
Citizen's Charter, created and established in compliance of Republic Act 9485
or the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007, is the first to be launched in the entire province
